The delegation of the Turkish Constitutional Court, upon the invitation extended by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Korea (South Korea), took part in the conference on “Constitutional Rights and the Environment” organised by the Secretariat for Research and Development of Asian Association of Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC).

Mr. Basri Bağcı, Vice-President of the Turkish Constitutional Court, was accompanied by Mr. Ömer Dursun, Rapporteur-Judge, at the conference held in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, on 27-30 May 2024.

Having delivered a presentation titled “Environmental Rights from the Perspective of the Turkish Constitutional Court”, Vice-President Bağcı held bilateral meetings with representatives of AACC member courts.

The delegation of the Turkish Constitutional Court also paid a visit to the Turkish Embassy in Seoul and met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Seoul, Mr. Murat Tamer.
